My hubby finished his radiotherapy treatment today 14th March 2022, he had 20 treatments, the care he was shown was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble for the staff of LA3, especially Katie, caring, understanding and thoughtful. Thank you so much for looking after my hubby, Paddy Fleming.
The band 2 staff were lovely the nurses were mostly fantastic apart from one who gave me the wrong meds and was very uncaring. The Dr's however need to learn how to document what they want the nursing staff to do and not tell them to use a canula that has tissued to give iv antibiotics!
The food is disgusting make sure you take lots of snacks and even pot noodles.
I was left in agony as I couldn't get anyone to believe the pain meds didn't work for me.
This was my first visit to this hospital and the reception staff and the health care professional I saw were helpful and friendly.
RPH is on the whole a good hospital. Staff vary In helpfulness, knowledge etc depending on their job description. The hospital could be a lot cleaner and in better repair.
In sufficient amount of staff and ridiculous waiting times.
Units like ICU are fabulous as should be for very poorly people. However others area big so good.
I had Radiotherapy treatment for my Prostate Cancer for 20 sessions at the Rosemere Cancer Centre & everyone involved with my treatment were so watchful, considerate & friendly.
