Carol was always patient and compassionate, and went above and beyond to help. Remote care is often impersonal or detached but Carol was neither - I felt she genuinely cared about finding the right medication, hearing my concerns, and improving quality of life in general. I’m a mental health professional so have worked with many MH nurses and can safely say that Carol is absolutely exceptional. I’m immensely grateful for all her help and support.

Carol was incredibly helpful and reassuring during my year's medication titration with Psychiatry UK. She always responded in a timely manner and would suggest courses of action depending on my symptoms and side effects. Her support was invaluable throughout the entire process, and I would absolutely recommend her services.

Carol was amazing - she was my titration nurse for a new medication after a diagnosis for ADHD. I always had all the information needed from carol and felt fully informed the whole time. Carol was always friendly, clear and concise and replied amazingly quickly! No ask was too big for Carol and she was great at providing advice and guidance during quite a difficult period of adjustment. Thank you Carol!

Carol was wonderful in guiding me through the titration process for my ADHD medication. She always replied extremely quickly, was very knowledgeable and gave excellent guidance throughout and was clearly committed to finding the best solution. I absolutely trusted Carol to find the best solution for me and she was extremely patient in finding the right medication and dose despite pressures on the service. She advised I try a second medication when I had suggested I was content with the first because her clinical opinion was that my symptoms could be improved more, and this was absolutely the right advice - the second medication suited me far better and I am so glad she was willing to take the time to go through titration again with a different medication. I am am extremely happy with the service Carol provided and would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Profile

I am a registered nurse prescriber. I started my journey as a mental health nurse by completing the recognised nursing course in the UK. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2011, I have worked in acute inpatient and community settings. I have helped pioneered the start of an NHS Adult ADHD service in 2011 and developed the service together with a Consultant Psychiatrist and provided a nurse led service for adults. Since 2011, I have participated in training conferences to help train other clinicians who were planning to start an adult ADHD service in their locality or those who have just started working in an adult ADHD service. I have given talks about the nurse led Adult ADHD service that I have helped pioneered in conferences/training sessions. I was voted Clinician of The Year in 2017 in the NHS Trust I was working with, and this reflects my dedication and commitment to continue to develop my nursing practice and deliver the best nursing intervention to those in need.
